VISUALIZING HISTORY: VAUQUOIS

In collaboration with researchers at Virginia Tech, this project explored the intersection of technology, history, and creativity through 3D scanning and digital preservation. My role was to develop the full 3D scanning pipeline, capturing a historic tunnel in Vauquois, France, and processing the point cloud data into optimized meshes for WebGL and VR viewing. I handled everything from scan acquisition to mesh cleanup, data optimization, and visualization, creating a workflow that allowed complex historical spaces to be experienced interactively in digital form.
